Chinese Temple In Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Thean Hou Temple is a vibrant, architecturally stunning Chinese temple located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Despite being a modern structure (1987), it possesses all the traditional qualities that make Chinese cultural artifacts so fascinating. Over the years, we have visited Thean Hou Temple numerous times, and we always enjoy exploring it.
This location is convenient for visiting if you’re traveling Kuala Lumpur because it’s close to both the city center and the well-known Petronas Towers.
This travel guide will tell you all you need to know before you go, including how to get there!

The temple is open until quite late and is illuminated if you visit Thean Hou at night. Better yet, during the Chinese New Year, the temple is decorated with vibrant lanterns, creating a breathtaking display.
