Bali Butterfly Park in Tabanan & Kemenuh
Visit the Bali Butterfly Park for an excellent opportunity to interact with Indonesian insects and butterflies in a semi-natural environment. We had so much fun here!
There are two butterfly parks in Bali, however they are rather similar to one another. There are two butterfly parks: one in the Tabanan regency and the other in Kemenuh, close to Ubud.
This travel guide will tell you all you need to know before you go, including how to get there!
Visiting The Bali Butterfly Parks
At the Bali Butterfly Park in Kemenuh, there are hundreds of active butterflies to watch in an open enclosure with walking paths, including over a dozen Balinese species.
We still had a great time, however I think the admission costs are a little exorbitant for Bali since you can stroll through the entire thing in 30 to 60 minutes.
An indoor hatchery where you may hold enormous Borneo stick bugs and even a few Atlas moths, the largest moths in the world, is the main draw of the Kemenuh Butterfly Park (or the one in Tabanan).
For both kids and nature lovers, getting up close and personal with the insects will be a big hit! In Tabanan Park, you may even deal with leaf bugs and Goliath beetles!
Kemenuh Butterfly Park vs Tabanan
There are two butterfly parks in Bali, one in Tabanan and the other in Kemenuh:
With more butterflies and improved administration, Kemenuh Butterfly Park appears to be in better form. It’s simpler to get to this one from Sanur, Ubud, and the other tourist destinations.
More bug species, such as enormous Goliath beetles, can be held at Tabanan Butterfly Park. Additionally, there is an indoor mini-museum with framed insects to view. In addition to needing some renovations, this park is more difficult to get to from the tourist attractions.
The good news is that you can handle the enormous stick bugs and Atlas moths at both parks!
