Thailand’s Wat Koh Tao Temple
Located on the Thai island of Koh Tao, the Wat Koh Tao temple is a Buddhist temple. There isn’t much history at this temple because it is modern, but the Thai style building is amazing. This travel guide will tell you all you need to know before you go, including how to get there!
Wat Koh Tao Temple
Additionally, the only other Buddhist temple of its kind on the island is Koh Tao Temple, which was constructed in May 2018.
It’s easy to take shots of the Thai-style building from the outside without needing to wear special clothing because of its architectural design.
Since the exterior of these temples always offers the best perspective, I chose not to enter the main edifice. However, if you’re courteous and dress modestly, I’m sure you could enter.
Entrance Fees
FREE as of 2019.
There’s no entry fee to visit the temple.
How To Get There
The temple is located on the western shore of Koh Tao island.
The major pier and tourist attractions at Sairee Beach are only a five-minute walk away, and you can rent a scooter for 150 Baht ($5 USD) from a number of locations to spend the entire day exploring the island.
