OVERVIEW
The Al Andalus train is a luxury palace on wheels, a unique place from which one can best enjoy the Spanish landscape. Inside, it combines exquisite decoration and gastronomy, which transport you through a time tunnel to the glamour of the belle époque. Travelling through Andalusia on board this luxurious train is a romantic and evocative once in a lifetime experience.
The suites that today make up the Al Andalus train were built in France in 1929. These carriages were used by the British royal family on their journeys from Calais to the Cote d’Azur. Its belle époque decoration has been enriched with all cutting-edge technical features. Each standard suite has two twin beds, a safe, a closet and an independent ensuite bathroom. The superior suites have a double bed, minibar, a safe, a closet and an excellent spacious ensuite bathroom.

ITINERARY
DAY WISE ITINERARY
Arrival in Sevilla and private transfer to hotel.
Day at leisure to discover the city.
Overnight at hotel.
Meeting in Sevilla in the morning in the Hotel Alfonso XIII at 10h00. While the crew transfers your luggage to the train, visit the capital of Andalusia, boasting the most extensive historic city centre in Spain, home to the Gothic Cathedral, its bell tower named Giralda, the Royal Alcazar and the General Archive of the Indies. After having lunch, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and cross the famous Plaza de España before boarding the Al Andalus train. Welcome cocktail on board, presentation of the crew and accommodation in the suites.
Dinner on board as the train heads to Jerez, where you will spend the night.
Just as every day, we begin today with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast withour coach will take us to visit Cadiz, popularly known as “la Tacita de Plata” (the Silver Teacup) and considered the oldest city in the West. Tour and free time
to immerse ourselves in Cadiz’s charms at our leisure. Lunch. We will return to Jerez in the afternoon. Free time, dinner, and
overnight stay injerez.
After breakfast, we will visit a Jerez (sherry) winery and enjoy the show“ How Andalusian Horses Dance,” a famous equestrian ballet featuring Spanish music. Lunch on board the train as we head towardsronda. Dinner in a Ronda restaurant and

After breakfast we will visit Ronda, with its awe-inspiring location, perched above a plateau penetrated by thedeep Tajo de Ronda gorge, through which the River Guadalevín flows. Lunch on board while the train takes us to Cordoba. Tour, dinner, and

After breakfast on board the train, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral and continue touring the former capital of the emirate and medieval caliphate of Al Ándalus, when it was the largest, most cultured,
and richest city in Western Europe. Lunch on board the train while we travel to Linares-Baeza Station to visit Úbeda and Baeza, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Cities. While we have dinner, we will arrive in Granada in the late evening.
Overnight stay in Granada.
After breakfast, we will tour Spain’s most popular monument, a rich palatial complex built by the Nasrid sovereigns of the Kingdom of Granada. (The visiting times of the Alhambra may vary depending on the size of the group, languages, and authorisation from those in charge of the palatial complex).
Lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue
visiting Granada.
Dinner and overnight stay in Granada
After enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will say goodbye to the train and its crew before travelling by coach to Malaga, where we will visit the Alcazaba, a palatial fort from Islamic times. Free time and lunch in the Parador Castillo de Gibralfaro, where our trip will end in the evening. Private transfer from train station to hotel.

*On the day the trip begins, the access to the suite is not guaranteed until 18h, although other services are already underway. On the last day of the trip, the suite must be left before 12h, although all other services continue until later.
