Full-day City tour of Beijing (Forbidden City, Tinman Square, Summer Palace) Tiananmen square is a famous monument in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. It is widely used as a national symbol. First built during the Ming Dynasty in 1420, Tiananmen is often referred to as the front entrance to the Forbidden City. However, the Meridian Gate is the first entrance to the Forbidden City proper, while Tiananmen was the entrance to the Imperial City, within which the Forbidden City was located. 

Forbidden city which has over 9,000 rooms and over 250 acres, was burned down and was rebuilt, sacked and renovated many times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates back to the 18th century in the Qing Dynasty.

 

The Summer Palace is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens, and palaces in Beijing, China. It serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers (1.1 sq mi), three-quarters of which is water.

The section of the Great Wall at Juyong Pass is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Around the Pass are rolling mountains, winding streams, and lush vegetation. Because of this, it was hailed as one of the eight most beautiful scenic spots in Beijing during the Qing Dynasty

Take high-speed bullet train to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai.
Huangpu River Cruise has been regarded as one of the most important and traditional tourist activities at night. It is known to all that the beautiful Huangpu River, also called the mother of this metropolis, embodies all the essences of Shanghai’s attractive scenes.
During the cruise, visitors can enjoy the magnificent scenes on both banks. On the west bank, dozens of imposingly tall and distinct buildings of different foreign architectural styles make up a never-to-be-forgotten night scene, forming a sharp contrast with those modern high rises on the east bank.

In 1882, an old temple was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. The temple was destroyed during the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty. Fortunately, the statues were saved, and a new temple was built on the present site in 1928. It was named the Completed in 1995 to a highly innovative design, Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower has become a landmark of excellence in architecture and is a favorite sight for tourists in Shanghai. At 468 meters, it is the third-tallest TV and radio tower in the world.

For all tours, a visa is required. We suggest you check with the consulate or embassy for updated visa requirements. Securing a valid visa is the responsibility of the booking agent.

TRAVELLERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Any disability requiring special attention must be reported at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of the disabled guest; however, we are not responsible for any denial of services by service providers. Hotels, restaurants, motor coaches, minibuses, and vans may not be equipped with wheelchair ramps. We cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on and off, transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need assistance must be accompanied by a qualified and physically able companion.

LOCAL HOLIDAYS
During national holidays, certain facilities (museums, restaurants, sightseeing tours, and shopping) may be limited or unavailable. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.

 

PORTERAGE & TIPS
Porterage is not included in the price. No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to baggage or passenger’s belongings. It is mandatory to tip USD 3 per person per day to the driver, which is collected by the tour manager.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
No responsibility is accepted for the loss of or damage to travel documents or any of the passenger’s belongings.

REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be made for any unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Any complaints while travelling should be made immediately to the local representative. The tour manager will try his or her best to resolve any disputes.

CHANGES TO ITINERARIES
If necessary, for any reasons beyond our control, SWT CLUB PVT LTD can amend or cancel any of the arrangements for a particular itinerary. SWT CLUB PVT LTD can close that departure.

Involving & PAYMENT

❖ We need a non-refundable deposit of USD 250 per person. (adult/child)
❖ We need to have full payment – as per the payment condition.
❖ For any last minute, we need to have immediate payments.
❖ For Credit Card payments, a service charge of 2.5% will be added to the total invoice.

● Our departures are fixed, and as the booking progresses, we add more guaranteed dates. If a guaranteed departure is essential to your clients, check with us at the time of booking.
● This is a third-party product whereby the tour is operated on a coach tour with an English-speaking tour escort.
● The tour operator reserves the right to operate tours using a minibus or a full-size coach depending upon the total number of passengers booked on the tour.
● Itinerary descriptions are guaranteed except for unforeseen conditions, which include, but are not limited to, road closures due to weather, acts of God, safety concerns, changes to highway legal restrictions, and acts by third parties beyond the control of the service provider. There will be no deviation in any of the services allowed on the tour.

● The hotels specified are based on local classifications, which may be 3- or 4-star hotels.
● Our pricing for the hotels includes room rates, taxes, and breakfast, if applicable. The passengers are liable to pay for any additional incidentals that they may incur at the hotel.
● Hotels might charge you a security deposit or credit card for personal consumption, if any.
● If changes become necessary for any reason, we will substitute a hotel with a similar standard.
● Standard policy is that hotel rooms are available for check-in after 1500 hours. Early check-in needs to be advised in advance, which may attract charges.

BOOKING TERMS AND PAYMENTS
● All bookings must be made in writing by filling out the booking form.
● Upon receipt of the booking form (filled in with all necessary information), we will send you our written confirmation. With written confirmation, we guarantee all services as mentioned in our programmed.
● A deposit of EUR 250 for Europe and USD 250 for the USA, Canada, and South China per person (a nonrefundable amount) must be received within 7 days of written confirmation. As a result, an invoice will be issued showing the booking deposit received.
● The balance amount should be paid 45 days prior to tour departure. If the deposit is not received, the booking will be assumed to be cancelled. For late bookings (less than 44 days prior to departure), full payment is required at the time of booking.

BOOKING PROCESS

❖ Based on availability, your booking will be confirmed within a time limit.
❖ If you need any letters for the submission of your visa, please send the passport details of all passengers.
❖ An invoice will be issued subsequently.
❖ Payment formalities need to be completed based on the contractual agreement between both parties.
