It is widely used as a national symbol. First built during the Ming Dynasty in 1420, Tiananmen is often referred to as the front entrance to the Forbidden City. However, the Meridian Gate is the first entrance to the Forbidden City proper, while Tiananmen was the entrance to the Imperial City, within which the Forbidden City was located. 

Forbidden city which has over 9,000 rooms and over 250 acres, was burned down and was rebuilt, sacked and renovated many times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates back to the 18th century in the Qing Dynasty.

The Summer Palace is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens, and palaces in Beijing, China. It serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers (1.1 sq mi), three-quarters of which is water.

The temple was destroyed during the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty. Fortunately, the statues were saved, and a new temple was built on the present site in 1928. It was named the Completed in 1995 to a highly innovative design, Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower has become a landmark of excellence in architecture and is a favorite sight for tourists in Shanghai. At 468 meters, it is the third-tallest TV and radio tower in the world.
