DAY WISE ITINERARY

On Arrival at Bagdogra Airport. Meet and Greet our Local representative and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Feet). Gangtok is the beautiful Capital City of Sikkim. Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist Centre & a base for hikers organizing permits & transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges. Check-In to the Hotel. Relax or Free time at Leisure.

This Morning after Breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo lake: (2 Hrs.drive from Gangtok), Tsomgo Lake is also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changgu Lake, it is a glacial lake in the Sikkim, some 35 Kms from the Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 12,400 feet, the Tsomgo Lake is almost about 1 Km long & 15 Meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local residents; the Tsomgo Lake remains frozen during the winter season. Further drive for 16 Kms for visiting the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple: (13,200 feet / 1 Hrs. drive from Tsomgo Lake), Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is Memorial & Temple honoring Indian army soldier, folk hero & saint Baba Harbhajan Singh. Located between Nathula and Jelepla pass at an altitude of 13,200 feet & about 50 Kms from Gangtok, Evening return at the Hotel & Free Time at Leisure.

This Morning after Breakfast at the Hotel, Proceed to Lachung. (8,610 feet). Lachung Lachung is a mountain village close to the Tibetan border, in Sikkim. It’s divided by the Lachung River. The village is home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, surrounded by apple orchards. Nearby, the Yumthang Valley’s Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary protects many species of rhododendron. The valley is also known for its waterfalls, pine forests & hot springs. Enroute visit Shinghik View Point: Singhik View Point is known for offering an all-encompassing views of the high mountains, including Mount Kanchenjunga and other neighbouring spots. The point where the Rivers Teesta & Kanaka meet is found just underneath this vantage point. Naga Falls: Naga falls is one of the longest and the scenic waterfalls with very clean and ice-cold water. It is a multi-tiered waterfall. The main fall is quite far from the main road so one needs to trek on a rocky path to get the view. The place offer panoramic view of snow-caped mountains all around. Bheema Falls: Bhim Nala Falls is a gorgeous waterfalls situated at Khedum village near Lachung. This is one of the tallest waterfalls in Sikkim & among the popular places to visit in Lachung. Located on Chungthang – Lachung road, Bhim Nala Waterfalls is also called Amitabh Bachchan falls due to its height. The water is falling from very high mountain and it looks like a three stage waterfall. The sound of water dropping can hear from far off. Twin Fall: Water gushing from one side in a funnel sort of way & on the other side covering the rocks almost 30-40 feet wide. This is the largest waterfall in Sikkim. Water splashes out from granite rocks in plumes of white in Kanchendzonga waterfalls. The sound produced in this voluminous and swift waterfall engulfs all surrounding noises. This Morning after Breakfast at the Hotel, Proceed to Yamthang Valley. The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley is Known as “Valley of Flowers”. It is a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains in the Sikkim. Later in the Afternoon Proceed Gangtok. Check-In to the Hotel & Free Time at Leisure.

This Morning after Breakfast at the Hotel, Proceed for Gangtok City Tour Covering Bonjhakri water Falls:  The Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park is a recreation centre and tourist attraction near Gangtok, in the state of Sikkim, India. The park’s statuary and other displays document the Ban Jhakri, or traditional shamanic healer who worships spirits living in caves around the falls. Flower Show: Ridge Park is floral heaven. The latter is a flat stretch of road exactly above Gangtok Town and if you’re into floriculture, an hour or two will pass by in the blink of an eye. Sikkim’s weather conditions are conducive to orchid cultivation and you will lose count of the number of varieties you spot at Ridge Park. A gazebo for travellers to rest while walking this stretch is a great addition for those simply wanting to get a feel of Gangtok. Handicraft Center: The Handicrafts and Handlooms Centre of Sikkim was established in the year 1957 as a Technical Institute for Training and Production of traditional arts and crafts. The main objective of the centre was to preserve the traditional arts and crafts of the state, encourage the peoples to participate and develop their skills through different up-gradation programmes, increase the opportunity for employment, generate income through Handloom and handicrafts sector and for national and international recognition for the handlooms and handicrafts of Sikkim. Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday):  Namgyal Institute of Tibetology is a Tibet museum in Gangtok. It is named after the 11th Chogyal of Sikkim, Sir Tashi Namgyal. Do – Drul-Chorten: Do Drul Chorten is a stupa in Gangtok. The stupa was built by Trulshik Rinpoche, head of e Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism in 1945. This stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur & other religious objects. Around the stupa are 108 Mani Lhakor or prayer wheels.
Later in the afternoon proceed to Pelling. (6,300 feet / 120 kms. / 5 Hrs). Pelling is a small town in Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. If Time Permits Enroute via Namchi to visit Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham). Check-In to the Hotel and Free Time at Leisure.

This Morning after Breakfast at the Hotel, Proceed for Pelling City Tour Covering Pemayangtse Monastery: The Pemayangtse Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in Pemayangtse, near Pelling in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, located 110 km west of Gangtok. Planned, designed and founded by Lama Lhatsun Chempo in 1647, it is one of the oldest and premier monasteries of Sikkim, also the most famous in Sikkim. Palace of Rabdantse of Ruins: Rabdentse was the second capital of the former kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The capital city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army & only the ruins of the palace & the Chortens are seen here now. New Helipad Ground, Pelling has a helipad ground though there is no regular air service. Rabdantse View Point: A few partially rebuilt wall stubs are all that remain of the palace complex at Rabdentse, which was Sikkim’s royal capital from 1670 until it was sacked by Nepali forces in the 18th century. However, it’s worth the 1km forest walk from the main car park to contemplate the fabulous viewpoint on which the ruins are located, best photographed between a trio of small, bare-stone stupas. Helipad Ground: Heliport in Pelling City. Later Drive to Darjeeling (7,000 feet). Darjeeling is a town in West Bengal, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. On arrival Check-In to the hotel and Relax, Free at Leisure.

This Early Morning Visit Tiger Hill – Sunrise point (Subject to availibility of Permit & token) Tiger Hill has a panoramic view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga together. At sunrise, the peaks of Kanchenjunga are illuminated before the sun is seen at lower elevations. Ghoom Monastery: Ghoom Monastery is the popular name of Yiga Choeling. The monastery belongs to the Gelukpa or the Yellow Hat sect and is known for its 15 feet (4.6 m)-high statue of the Maitreya Buddha. The external structure of the building was established in 1850 by the Mongolian astrologer and monk Sokpo Sherab Gyatso & Batasia Loop: A Gorkha war Memorial, Batasia loop is the Scenic point known for its unique uphill train track, plus gardens & a monument to Indian soldiers.Later return back to the Hotel. After breakfast at the Hotel, Proceed for Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was established in Darjeeling, India on 4 November 1954 to encourage mountaineering as an organized sport in India. P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday): Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is a 67.56-acre zoo in the town of Darjeeling in West Bengal. The zoo was opened in 1958. Zoo has an average elevation of 7,000 feet, is the largest high altitude zoo in India. Tenzing Rock: Tenzing Rock is a gigantic natural rock in Darjeeling named after Tenzing Norgay. It was learnt that Tenzing himself used to practice climbing on this rock. Tea Garden (outer view): Tea Estate Garden with Rows of vibrant tea bushes stretch across the landscape. Pace Pagoda (Japanese Temple): Peace Pagoda (Japanese Temple), Darjeeling Peace Pagoda is one of the Peace Pagodas designed to provide a focus for people of all races & creeds to help unite them in their search for world peace. Traditional Japanese-style Buddhist temple & multi-level pagoda offering commanding mountain views. Later return back to the Hotel & enjoy shopping in famous mall road by walking or Relax, Free at Leisure.

  • Visa Fee + Rs. 9500 service charges will be deducted from invoice amount and balance amount will be refunded.  

TRAVEL TIPS

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

  • Booking amount ₹ 20,000/- Per Person to confirm the booking
  • Balance amount to be cleared 60 days prior to start date of the tour.

  • Prevailing GST rate is at 5% / GST Rate @10% without Pan Card (If PAN CARD is not available / submitted) will be applicable Extra.
  • A new directive has been released by RBI regarding remittance process. It is now mandatory to submit PAN details of all passengers for all LRS (Liberalised Remittance Scheme) remittances irrespective of the value.
  • In case of any changes in the GST rate by government by travelling date, then the customers have to bear the difference of the same.
  • No name change allowed after booking.
  • Minimum booking amount is ₹25,000/- Per Person.
  • Booking Amount will be non-refundable once booked.
  • Vehicle are on Point to Point basis only, Guest has to pay the additional Charges for extra usage of the vehicle.
  • Any Deviation from the Itinerary, Guest has book the Transfer at their own Cost.  
  • If the Group Tour Passengers are less than reserved Tour block, then the Booking may be re-arranged as per the Available passengers in the Group Tour. If the Guests are increased / Decreased, Tour cost may vary, all the Guest will have to bear the same & bound to pay.
  • As per health conditions requesting to please carry Medicines & Dry-Snacks Etc.
  • Please Read, Carry & follow the Valid Club TravelScape Voucher provide by Club TravelScape Holidays , which will be issued 3 Days Prior to the Departure.
  • Tour Manager Service will only be provided if the Group size is of 20 Pax or above. For group with size of less than 20 Pax, driver-cum-guide will accompany you.
  • PAN Card is Mandatory at the time of booking aged 18 years and above.
  • Passport or Voter Id is Mandatory at the time of booking for every Guest travelling.
  • Validity of the Passport Should be 6 Months & above from date of Return Journey.
  • Universal standard check-in time is 14:00 Hrs & Check-Out time is 10:00 Hrs. All Hotel stays will strictly follow these timings & Guests needs to comply with the same.
  • Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out will not be possible.
  • If tour get cancelled due to any Virus and Outbreaks, Covid or Similar or any Government restrictions then cancellation charges would be waived off and credit note will be given to be utilized in future.
  • Club TravelScape Holidays Private Limited in no way shall be responsible for Cancellation of Flights, Change of time for Flight / Trains / Bus / Ferry, Missing of Flight / Trains / Bus / Ferry, Any kind of Medical problems or Medical emergencies, Any kind of Loss, Loss due to injury or damage to person or property in connection with the Flight, Train, Bus, Ferry, Transportation, Hotels, Airports, Water, Marine Transport, caused by acts of strikes, Riots, War, Virus Outbreak, Covid or similar, Lock-Down, pilferage, breakdown of machinery, accidents, Political disturbances, Electricity Failures, Natural Calamities, Government Policies & Permissions, Force Majeure etc.
  • All the Sightseeing depends on all the Permits, weather & road condition, Land Slides, Permission from the government authorities.
  • Vehicles facilities are available only Up to parking. Guest has to walk or manage their transfer’s from parking to sightseeing Locations (if required).
  • Itinerary may subject to change as per Various Conditions, flight timings, weather Condition, Covid 19 Norms & SOP’s, availability of guide & entrance Tickets etc.
  • Any Cost during any type of Natural Calamities / Medical Emergencies / Changes in the tour had to be payable by guest on the Spot.
